Soldiers with the Ohio Army National Guard’s 1191st Engineer Company, based in Portsmouth, clean up tree limbs and branches from a ditch in Gallia County, Feb. 21, 2021. About 60 Soldiers of the 1191st were activated to assist in Gallia County, while about 40 Airmen from the Air National Guard’s 200th RED HORSE (Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operations Repair Squadron Engineers) Squadron, based in Port Clinton and with a detachment in Mansfield, provided support to Lawrence County, clearing debris from critical infrastructure after an ice storm.
