A DCH-4 Caribou aircraft drops six parachute bundles at the drop zone marked with green smoke near the Salang tunnel. The aerial delivery mission was the first one ever conducted at the Salang Pass. The success of the mission proves that the 10th Sustainment Brigade can resupply Soldiers with what they need just about anywhere.
