HIAWATHA, Kan. – Lt. Col. Shawn Plankinton, 2nd Battalion, 130th Field Artillery Regiment battalion commander, Aimee Plankinton, battalion Soldier and Family Readiness Group senior advisor, Staff Sgt. Alicia Young, battalion medical readiness noncommissioned officer, and Maj. Nick Carlson, battalion administrative officer, stand out front of the Citizens State Bank and Trust in Hiawatha, Kansas, March 4. Theodor Starr, chairman and president of Citizens State Bank and Trust, invited the group in order to present them with a generous donation he made to their newly initiated Soldier and Family Readiness Program account. The funds will help kick start fundraising efforts that support battalion events and community initiatives.
