U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Francis Donovan, the Commanding General of 2d Marine Division, puts on protective equipment during an Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) demonstration on Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 8, 2021. During the display, Marines gained knowledge and familiarity with the new vehicle. The ACV is replacing the Assault Amphibious Vehicle currently used around the Marine Corps and it will provide a more modern and advanced amphibious assault platform that will increase the Marine Corps' maritime capabilities as a naval expeditionary force.
