Staff Sgt. Chad Diehl, a firefighter with the 436th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, approaches simulated victims Aug. 21, 2012, at Dover Air Force Base, Del. A simulated explosion at the base theater was part of the Aug. 20-22 Major Accident Response Exercise, held to test Team Dover's ability to respond to threats and emergencies. Dover AFB partnered with members of the local community during the MARE to strengthen cooperation and communication between agencies.
