Shawn Conwol, from Fayettville, N.C., helicopter airframe mechanic with Marine Light Attack Training Squadron 303, performs maintenance on a Bell UH-1Y Venom helicopter at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 24. The helicopter is a twin-engine utility helicopter with the capability to perform mission requirements such as command and control, escort, reconnaissance, troop transport, medical evacuation and close-air support.
