The disbursing office with 2nd Marine Logistics Group bid farewell to Jacquelyn W. Southerland, a financial technician supervisor with the office, in a retirement ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 30, 2012. Southerland officially retired after dedicating more than half of her life to serving the financial needs of servicemembers. Her colleagues said her strong personality and invaluable experience made her an essential part of their team as they handled the financial needs of troops aboard the base.
