One of the first District of Columbia National Guard Presidential Inauguration Support Ribbons presented to a service member sits atop an awards case at the District of Columbia Armory, in Washington, D.C., March 10, 2021. The ribbon is authorized for award to National Guard members from any state, territory or the District of Columbia who served in support of the 59th Presidential Inauguration on Title 32 orders. The National Guard has been requested to continue supporting federal law enforcement agencies with security, communications, medical evacuation, logistics and safety support to district, state, and federal agencies.
