Anthony Mercado, commanding officer for 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO), I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, gives remarks during their 70th anniversary ceremony. Lt. Col Mercado received orders to command 1st ANGLICO in the summer of 2019. 1st ANGLICO was established in 1949 as the premier air and naval gunfire liaison in support of both Navy-Marine Corps and Navy-Army operations.
