Heidi Buck, director of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific’s Battlespace Exploitation of Mixed Reality (BEMR) Lab, speaks with Mark Day, a panelist from Microsoft HoloLens group about AR/VR headset technology, during the Technical Exchange on Augmented Reality for Military, Maintenance, and 3D Modeling (TEAR 3M). NIWC Pacific partnered with the National Defense Industrial Association to host TEAR 3M, Feb. 23–24, 2021, which included more than 100 speakers, booths and demos and focused on augmented reality/virtual reality applications for the Navy.
