Members of Marine Corps Base Quantico community participate in the Base Commander’s Veterans Golf Tournament aboard MCB Quantico, Va., Mar. 26, 2021. U.S. Marine Corps Col. William C. Bentley III, base commander of Marine Corps Base Quantico coordinated a golf tournament to help build morale for veterans. Veterans from around the area traveled to participate in the golf competition. “I’m excited about this season and being able to get folks out. It’s great to hear the comradery that goes on in the parking lot and out here. To me the mental health aspect of getting out is hugely important. If there is something that we can do to help both our active duty and our veterans; this is one of those things. I really appreciate you guys coming out,” said Bentley.
