Col. Chris Sharpsten, 82nd Sustainment Brigade commander and Massena, N.Y., native, speaks to 530th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion soldiers following a four-mile run. The battalion ran to promote esprit de corps during an all-day working group session with the 82nd Sustainment Brigade. The brigade will assume command and control of the battalion, Sept. 13. The battalion is currently part of the 49th Quartermaster Group.
