U.S. Army Soldiers from the 91st Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division carry their duffel bags to their temporary barracks at Camp Aachen in Grafenwoehr, Germany, Dec. 19, 2018. This is the last stop of 1-1 CD’s rotation supporting Atlantic Resolve, an exercise to improve the interoperability of U.S. Forces with their NATO allies and partners. Walkability and a proximity to the barracks are important factors in siting the Operational Readiness Training Center in the Grafenwoehr Training Area’s Area Development Execution Plan.
