U.S. Army Pvt. Justin Driver, a native of Port Neches, Texas, and automated logistical specialist with 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), understands the importance of the work being done at the Wolstein Community Vaccination Center in Cleveland. “We are helping get this community back on its feet,” Driver said. Driver says his favorite part is from the community members. “A lot of people talk about how they can’t wait to hug and kiss their grandkids after their second dose of the vaccine,” he said. “Hearing things like that really makes you feel good.” Driver is planning to study business management in school and hopes to commission as an officer in the Army down the road. U.S. Army North remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
