AH-64E version 6 (V6) Apache helicopters takeoff from the Boeing facilities at Mesa, Ariz., bound for Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Wash. PEO Aviation’s PM Apache New Equipment Training Team conducts computer based and hands-on training as part of the certification process to fly and maintain the Apache AH-64E Version 6 Apache helicopter. The training ensures pilots and maintainers of AH-64E version 4 or earlier aircraft are fully qualified to operate and maintain the newest version of the Apache helicopter.
