GETTYSBURG, Penn. - David Dworak, U.S. Army War College, leads U.S. Army senior enlisted leaders on a Staff Ride across the famed battlefield of the Civil War. Twenty Command Sergeants Major walked the grounds of the famed battle resolving how each, if assigned to actual commanders from the time period of the battle, would have assumed roles and responsibilities of a senior enlisted leader, had either side at the time had such a position. The Staff Ride was part of the training during the first in-person Nominative Leaders Course since COVID-19 . (Photo by Master Sgt. Crista Mary, Mack, U.S. Army Center of Military History)
