Lt. Col. Joel A. Burdette relieved his post as commanding officer of 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion to Maj. Scott E. Cobb during a ceremony at the battalion headquarters Aug. 31. Burdette, a native of Tallassee Ala., will next assume the billet of executive officer at Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
