Sgt. Maj. Ronald Halcovich, incoming sergeant major, Marine Aircraft Group 24, prepares to accept the ceremonial staff noncommissioned officer’s sword from Col. Paul A. Fortunato, commanding officer, MAG-24, during a relief and appointment ceremony, between Hangars 101 and 102, Aug. 30. Halcovich, previously the sergeant major of 3rd Radio Battalion, relieved Sgt. Maj. Christopher G. Robinson as the new sergeant major of MAG-24. Robinson is slated to be the new sergeant major of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, in Cherry Point, N.C.
