U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Tylon Myers Jr., an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator, with Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 1, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, remotely operates a RQ-21A Blackjack UAV, assigned to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1), during an offensive air support exercise, in support of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 2-21, at Site 50 training area, near Wellton, Ariz., April 6, 2021. The WTI course is a seven-week training event hosted by MAWTS-1, providing standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine aviation training and readiness, and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
