Two U.S. Marine Corps KC-130’s arrive at Camp Pendleton, California, April 9, 2021. These aircraft will be transporting a team of 134 Marines and Sailors to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Marines and Sailors at the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, support a Community Vaccination Center at Bon Carre Business Center to assist with and administer COVID-19 vaccines to the Baton Rouge community. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
