U.S. Marines assigned to Expeditionary Operations Training Groups from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and II Marine Expeditionary Force, conducted a live-fire exercise of High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Mar. 4, 2021. HIMARS provide a unique capability for the Marine Corps, specifically the MEUs, to easily maneuver and deploy, boosting the MEUs lethality and agility in theater.
