NOVO SELO TRAINING AREA, Bulgaria—CW2 Baldwin Fajardo, UH-60 Blackhawk pilot, Charlie Company, 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, works through pre-flight checks here April 17. The 3-1 AHB partnered with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division to execute an air assault, enhancing interoperability between the two battalions.
