MEDITERRANEAN SEA (April 22, 2021) Chief Petty Officer Joseph Greeley and Petty Officer 2nd Class John Kishbaugh from USCGC Charles Moulthrope (WPC 1141) stand lookout during a search and rescue exercise with the Tunisian Naval Forces in the Mediterranean Sea on April 22, 2021. The exercise used a simulated person in the water, an Oscar dummy dropped by a Tunisian air force UH-60M helicopter, and the four vessels — Charles Moulthrope, USCGC Robert Goldman (WPC 1142), Jugurtha (P 610), and Hasdrubal (P 509) partnered to conduct search patterns. Charles Moulthrope and USCGC Robert Goldman (WPC 1142) are en route to their new homeport in Bahrain in support of the Navy’s U.S. Fifth Fleet and U.S. Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. The U.S. Coast Guard patrol vessels are conducting operations in the U.S Naval Forces Sixth Fleet area of operations supporting U.S. national interests and security in Europe and Africa.
