U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division (2d MARDIV), construct defensive berms during Exercise Rolling Thunder 21.2 on Fort Bragg, N.C, April 19, 2021. This is a live-fire artillery exercise that takes place in a dynamic scenario. Marines with 10th Marine Regiment will employ distributed fires via simulated Expeditionary Advanced Bases (EABs) while also incorporating new Force Design 2030 initiatives from the Commandant’s Planning Guidance. This training will increase both 10th Marines’ and 2d MARDIV combat readiness against a peer competitor. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc.Sarah Pysher)
