Three Marines and a Navy corpsman work together to anchor a guy wire for an AN/TPN-22 Precision Approach Radar in support of operations on the airfield at Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, Sept. 11 on the first day of Valiant Shield 12. Valiant Shield is an ongoing biennial joint-service exercise; this is the fourth iteration of the exercise series. The exercise lasts from Sept. 11 - 19, 2012.
