PACIFIC OCEAN (April 21, 2021) A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, takes off from amphibious transport dock ship USS Portland (LPD 27) for a simulated quick reaction force mission, April 21. The Marines and Sailors of the 11th MEU are conducting routine training as part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG).
