A CAL FIRE firefighter sprays water around a California Air National Guard HH-60G Pave Hawk aircraft, April 24, 2021, to help minimize dust and reduce rotor wash before it leaves for a training exercise from Allen Helibase near Sutter Creek, California. A joint effort between CAL FIRE and Cal Guard, the annual military helicopter manager training simulates helibase operations for both ground crews and aircrews who work diligently to be ready during training exercises as well as future fire situations.
