Airmen from Barksdale's honor guard present the ceremonious sword used in the Order of the Sword ceremony honoring retired Gen. Robin Rand, former Air Force Global Strike Command commander, at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, April 23, 2021. The ceremonial presentation was adopted from the Royal Order of the Sword and passed to the United States during the Revolutionary War.
