Two-year-old Brennen Day and his mom, Sgt. Danielle Day, medical logistics specialist with William Beaumont Army Medical Center, climb the rope tower together at the Better Opportunities for Single Parents’ End of the Summer Bash, Sept. 8, at Biggs Park on Fort Bliss. “Single parents need an outlet too,” Danielle Day said. “It’s hard to get out and do things when you are responsible for a child.
