A Search and Rescue team composed of California and Hawaii Air National Guard Airmen work with local first responder personnel to extract a victim out of a notional car-wreck scenario during a rescue training operation April 16, 2021, in Concord, Calif.. The training scenario was part of exercise Sentinel Response 2021, a full scale exercise that provides local and state first responders and elements of the California Army and Air National Guard with the opportunity to conduct Urban Search & Rescue operations in a simulated radioactively contaminated environment.
