Representatives from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (L), the national public health federal agency of the United States under the Department of Health and Human Services conduct an onsite visit, which was led by New York Army National Guard Col Michael Bice (L), Incident Commander of Joint Task Force Javits, and Dr Doug Fish, NYS Department of Health, at the New York State mass vaccination site at the Jacob Javits Center, New York City on April 17, 2021.
Over 3,180 members of the New York Army and Air National Guard, the New York Naval Militia and the New York Guard are supporting the multi-agency response to COVID-19 at 24 vaccination sites and other locations across New York.
