ARABIAN SEA (April 28, 2021) – Guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58) makes her approach to the Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE-8), center, in preparation for a replenishment-at-sea as aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), left, and guided-missile destroyer USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116) transit the Arabian Sea, April 28. Laboon is supporting the IKE Carrier Strike Group while deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area and conducting naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
