SAN DIEGO (Apr. 29, 2021) Sailors assigned to Navy Medical and Readiness Training Center (NMRTC) San Diego, share information and resources about the Navy Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) at the courtyard of Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) April 29. The Department of Defense observes Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month by focusing on creating the appropriate culture to eliminate sexual assault and requiring a personal commitment from all Service members. NMRTC’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMRTC serves as the single point of contact in support of installation and operational commanders, providing medical information, support and over medical cognizance of the active duty and reserve force.
