PACIFIC OCEAN (April 13, 2021) U.S. Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are staged before loading onto an MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165, 11th MEU, aboard amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2), April 13. Sailors and Marines of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 11th MEU are conducting routine training off the coast of southern California.
