The Medal of Honor posthumously presented to Pharmacist’s Mate Second Class William D. Halyburton for his actions on May 10, 1945 during the Battle of Okinawa. Halyburton’s sister-in-law transferred the MOH to the Clinic in a ceremony held Friday, May 27, 2016.
