The face and identity of a Border Patrol agent is obscured by a mask which protects him from the sun and potential exposure to COVID-19 as he monitors a group of undocumented non-citizens apprehended in a remote area within Big Bend Sector May 6, 2021. The group was likely making their way toward a highway pick-up point in the United States after crossing the border from Mexico days before. All were taken for processing and welfare checks in accordance with Big Bend Sector protocols. The face has been blurred to protect the privacy of the individual shown.
