A Marine assigned to Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 3/2, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), looks down range from the turret of a Humvee while halting during a mechanized assault at the infantry platoon basic course, Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 10, 2012. The Marines and sailors used Humvees and Light Armored Vehicles to assault through unimproved terrain towards their final objective. This training is part of the 26th MEU's pre-deployment training program. BLT 3/2 is one of the three reinforcements of 26th MEU, which is slated to deploy in 2013.
