Paratroopers assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division return to Fort Bragg after completing Swift Response 21. The Brigade conducted an airborne assault into Estonia as part of a near simultaneous multinational joint forcible entry (JFE) operation in Estonia, Lithuania, and Romania respectively. The operation demonstrated strategic readiness, interoperability and resolve in support of the NATO Alliance across Europe during Swift Response 21 (SR21).
More than 7,000 Paratroopers participated in the JFE from the 82nd Airborne Division: 173rd Airborne Brigade, the Polish 6th Airborne Brigade, and eight other nations.
