Staff Sgt. Jeffery Salyer, 310th Aircraft Maintenance Unit weapons load crew member, returns to his composite tool kit after arming an inert GBU-12 Paveway II laser-guided bomb onto an F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft during a load competition. Airmen from the 56th Maintenance Group went head-to-head to see which unit could load its fighter aircraft the fastest while following safety regulations. Through friendly competition, the 56th Maintenance Group enhances lethality and readiness of Luke’s aircraft and maintainers. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class David C. Busby)
