A Fuel Efficient Demonstrator-Alpha, a prototype vehicle developed by the U.S. Army, runs through a test course at Michigan Technological University’s Keweenaw Research Center during a technology demonstration in September 2018. U.S. Army scientists and engineers, along with industry and NATO partners, extensively tested the Next Generation NATO Reference Mobility Model against real-world vehicle tests.
