Mojave Green Rattlesnakes are known for their olive drab green color mixed with browns and blacks, and they are on the move aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, California, May 11. Watch where you put your hands and feet as live and work in the Mojave Desert, as this is their home, and they will strike in order to defend themselves from any perceived threat. You may or may not hear the tell-tale rattle before they strike. Notice the sharp arrow shaped head with pronounced jowels, and raised eye sockets, indicative of the venomous snakes.
