Maj. Gen. Shawn Manke, the Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard presents the Krippner family with a Public Service Commendation Medal for the generosity of their time and space to make a memorial possible. Three Minnesota National Guardsmen were honored May 16, 2021, with the dedication of a memorial at the site of a Dec. 5, 2019, helicopter crash that killed three in Kimball, Minnesota. The public memorial honors Chief Warrant Officer 2 James Rogers Jr., Chief Warrant Officer 2 Charles P. Nord and Warrant Officer Candidate Kort M.
