Jeremy Wright’s Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) 142 team leader, center, and Jackie Nickel, Wright’s mother, unveil Wright’s memorial stone at a dedication ceremony at the Southwestern Junior-Senior High School in Shelbyville, Indiana, May 14, 2021. The memorial was erected to remember Wright, a Green Beret with 1st SFG (A) and Southwestern Junior-Senior High School alumnus, who was killed in action while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom Jan. 3, 2005, in Afghanistan.
