JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – A Green Beret with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) fires a Glock 19 pistol during the Combat Pistol Qualification Course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, May 17, 2021. From May 17-20, 2021, 15 Soldiers competed in the 1st SFG (A) Best Warrior Competition, which included a shooting qualification range, Army Combat Fitness Test, 12-mile ruck march, obstacle course and essay, to select a noncommissioned officer and junior enlisted Soldier to compete in the 1st Special Forces Command Best Warrior Competition slated for June at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
