The interior of Quarters One is accented by plaster cornice molding and ceiling medallions, inlayed hardwood floors, white Italian marble mantels, walnut wainscoting, close walnut banister, and numerous items of furniture that were manufactured at the RIA. Here is one of two front parlors showcasing these features, as well as a small alcove used for reading and to allow natural light to enter the building.
