U.S. Marines who are currently students at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) Cherry Point, perform a mock pit stop on National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) driver Garrett Smithley’s show race car, at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, May 25, 2021. Smithley and his team made an appearance at MCAS Cherry Point to host a meet and greet with the service members, civilian employees, and their families as part of their “Military Salutes Campaign” in an effort to give thanks to the armed forces.
