LOPBURI, Thailand – Green Berets with 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), and soldiers with the Royal Thai Army attend a graduation ceremony for the Royal Thai Army (RTA) Special Forces Basic Course in Lopburi, Thailand, April 10, 2021. Green Berets with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) serve as the Special Forces Rotational Element (SFRE) and wear both the SFRE patch and the 46th Special Forces Company flash, the patch representing the 46th Special Forces Company’s service from 1967 to 1974, The flash is recognized as a historic symbol of decades-long partnership between the U.S. Army and the Royal Thai Army.
