Pvt. Matthew Schnell, 56th Engineer Support Company, of Bemidgi, Minn., ejects an expended shell from a shotgun while shooting skeet, Sept. 14, 2012. Sixth Engineer Battalion soldiers participated in safety stand-down day activities including skeet shooting, archery, all-terrain vehicle safety, generator instruction, 9mm familiarization fire and a simulated drunk driving course. The day's events were designed to give the battalion's Soldiers a fun break from the normal pace of operations while stressing safety in recreational activities.
