U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District Project Engineer Johann Buchfelder checks out ongoing construction of a new field house at Vilseck High School at Rose Barracks in U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria May 6, 2021. The new field house, adjacent to the school’s athletics field, will not only serve as an area to store athletics equipment but is being designed as a focal point for social activities and events. The project is part of the Army’s push for new and improved housing and other facilities to improve quality of life for Soldiers and their families stationed at Rose Barracks.
