Clarence Ellis, U.S. Army veteran, receives a hot meal from volunteers who support East Bay Stand Down 2012 located at the Alameda Fairgrounds Pleasanton, Calif., Sept. 13-16, 2012. The EBSD program helps displaced, homeless, and needy Veterans and their families with legal issues, dental and medical care, substance abuse and mental health counseling, new clothing, benefits and many other services.
